Weekend Flow

Friday, April 25th (1 Q’anil): Arrival and Opening Circle

  • Arrive between 2–5 pm to set up camp and settle into the land.

  • Share a potluck dinner and gather for an opening circle to set intentions.

  • Close the evening with a soothing soundbath by Olesia Trok, guiding us into dreamtime.

Saturday, April 26th (2 Toj): Sacred Preparation and Women’s Lodge Ceremony

  • Spend the day in prayer and preparation with the elements, the women’s lodge, and each other.

  • Come together in the Grandmother’s Hearth for a powerful sweat lodge ceremony to purify, heal, and deepen our connection to Spirit and one another.

  • Come together to prepare a nourishing dinner, grounding and replenishing as a community.

Sunday, April 27th (3 T’zi): Fire Ceremony and River Offerings

  • Begin the day with an early morning wood fire ceremony, offering prayers for our lives and the healing of Mother Earth during this spring season.

  • Prepare and enjoy a nourishing brunch together, break down camp, and journey to the newly free-flowing Klamath River.

  • At the river, we will make offerings for the return of the salmon, honoring the cycle of life and our place within it.

  • Return to Deer Mountain and depart by 3 pm.

Sacred Themes of the Mayan Calendar

This weekend aligns with the Mayan sacred days of 1 Q’anil, 2 Toj, and 3 T’zi, guiding us through a profound journey of initiation, reciprocity, and community:

  • 1 Q’anil: A day to plant new seeds of wisdom, knowledge, and intention for our lives.

  • 2 Toj: A day of sacred reciprocity and balance. Through the sweat lodge ceremony, we explore where we give too much or take without offering, restoring harmony within ourselves and with Spirit.

  • 3 T’zi: A day to honor our community, clan, and extended family—body, mind, and spirit. We complete our journey by connecting with the sacred waters of the Klamath River, sharing our prayers with her.

This cycle prepares us for the full flowering of the 13 Ajpu, the Tree of Life, as we move through the 13-day journey of growth and transformation.

Logistics

  • Camping: We will camp at Bear Paw Meadow and work together to prepare meals (food provided except for Friday’s potluck). If the weather is challenging, we can put mats and sleep in the yurt to stay warmer.

  • Sliding Scale: To honor accessibility and inclusivity, we offer a sliding scale of $150 and up for this 3-day experience. Offer what feels right for your financial situation. No one will be turned away for lack of funds—contact us for work-trade or scholarship options.

  • Space is Limited to 15 Women: Reserve your spot early to join this sacred gathering.
