Summer 2023 13-Day Week Energy Descriptions:

Mayan Calendar 13-Day Week of 1 E – 13 Kat  (Mon Jun 19th – Sat Jul 1st, 2023)

In this week, now we take a step into our new destiny, our new path on 1 E (Mon Jun 19th). We initiate a new road where we are carrying a new bundle that is going to complete in the connection through the elementals to the Web of Life, in 13 Kat (Sat Jul 1st). 13 Kat is like the spider, connecting our intentions, all of our initiations, our mental wisdom, our emotional wellness, and our spiritual awareness, within the Web of Life.

However, in this journey we first have to get through the 7 Tijax (Sun Jun 25th), the obsidian blade, the place where all the blades are facing in each direction, and we are traveling at a certain speed and need to be careful to not get cut. Tijax asks us to pay attention to the energies that can block us from getting to our purification place, the place of knowing how to handle the elementals (Kawok). So 7 Tijax becomes one of the final tests - we can not get caught, we can not lose our self, so that we make it through the 8 Kawok (Mon Jun 26th), through that lodge, through the completion of the process of purification. This is important because the very next moment, the next day on 9 Ajpu (Tues Jun 27th), an enlightened being is born. It doesn’t mean that we made it all the way through, but it means that the knowledge and wisdom (10 Imux – Wed Jun 28th), that spiritual state (11 I’q – Thurs Jun 29th) now has taken a birth.  It is going to take you through the crystallizing of your visions, the place of the unknown, into the light and understanding (12 Akabal – Fri Jun 30th), so that we can connect to the Web of Life on 13 Kat (Sat Jul 1st).

However, if we choose the wrong road on 1 E, if we get into drugs, alcohol, addictions through the partying, or whatever, and we become trapped, this is where the soul catcher is waiting, this is where we lose our vision, where we make the violations, and Tijax cuts our connection. 9 Ajpu, the Lord of the Light, goes into the black sun, and confusion comes in. 13 Kat then becomes the addiction, the imprisonment of the soul. It becomes a dark place of eternity. And so, as we see humanity and part of our world, that is where it is heading. It continues to get trapped in the spider web- now we are a mosquito and we are trapped by the Soul Catcher, the spider, and we will become its food. And so these are the 2 aspects of what happens when we take our step, and make decisions when we have knowledge and wisdom, on this path, on the initiation of the 1 E.  

Mayan Calendar 13-Day Week of 1 Kan – 13 Noj (Sun Jul 2nd – Fri Jul 14th, 2023)

In the week of 1 Kan (Sun Jul 2nd), here is where we now know what energy we are using (Kan is the cosmic energy that moves through all things). So if we made good decisions in the previous cycle and made a good connection to the web of life, now we’re going to use the energy properly. We are going to initiate to become the Feathered Serpent - the unification of opposites. The next day on 2 Keme (Mon Jul 3rd) we go through the death process. This is also the day of the full moon, inviting us to allow the things that no longer serve us to die away, transform, so that we can become the butterfly.

We take this beautiful journey to 7 B’atz (Sat Jul 8th) which is waiting for us in the middle of this week. In 7 B’atz we look again at our tapestry, and we decide, okay, now that we’ve been through all of this, now what do we do with what’s coming from the world, from our life and our experience, through walking in this world? 7 B’atz comes in and says, ok, now you have this tapestry, how are you going to complete your spiritual journey? We’re almost halfway up the mountain, and some might not even want to make it any more. You’re tired, and you’ve been through all kinds of stuff, and here is where a lot of people give up. Here’s where we start to lose the connection.  

But if we keep the connection on 8 E (Sun Jul 9th), we decide, “No, I will not give up, I will continue and complete this journey”. The very next day, on 9 Aj (Mon Jul 10th), you say “I am planting my staff to birth myself, to complete, so I can receive the full power of the knowledge”, on 13 Noj (Fri Jul 14th). Here’s the wisdom of Earth. Here’s the wisdom of the ancestors. Here’s the universal wisdom, to understand what needs to happen. And we have already made a decision of what goes on and what doesn’t. So that we do not misuse the knowledge. Here is where Noj can be knowledge or wisdom: when it is just knowledge, the world continues to create things and to destroy the very world that will give it life. And so when we look at this birthing on 9 Aj (Mon Jul 10th), now my bundle is alive. Now I can make this decision and follow what is sacred, walk that sacred garden. Now we are going to receive the wisdom of 13 Noj, because we will learn from the greatest teacher ever- the cosmos, our Mother Nature, and the Spirit.   

Mayan Calendar 13-Day Week of 1 Tijax – 13 T’zi  (Sat Jul 15th – Thurs Jul 27th, 2023)

In this week of 1 Tijax (Sat Jul 15th) if you received the wisdom of the previous week, now you can communicate it. The initiation of 1 Tijax is to become the teacher now, to share how to become a community, how to become a family on 13 T’zi (Thurs Jul 27th): people who can collaborate, who can cooperate, who can love each other, who can live in peace, who can really be in oneness with all of life.  Monday July 17th is the new moon on 3 Ajpu, inviting us to plant the seeds of intention to become the full blossom of our body, mind, and spirit.

The balance point of this week is 7 Kat (Fri Jul 21st) when we can see the proper connection to the Web of Life: “whatever you do to the web of life, you do to yourself.” It is not about us, it is about us serving and responding to the sacred gift that Creator, Mother Earth, is giving us, so that we can restructure our communities and our families, so that we can now say we are healing the sacred hoop. The very next day on 8 Kan (Sat Jul 22nd) here is where we reach the completion of the Feathered Serpent; the Feathered Serpent is now activated. Now we can call it the Original Instructions, this is the Law of Nature. Now we know how to respect it, now we can communicate it, now we can share it. We can even use the Original Instructions of the Law of the Land, to go through the transformation of the 9 Keme (Sun Jul 23rd), the 9 Lords of the Underworld, now we can say this is the way we can birth our transformation.  Then the next day the shamans become self-aware on 10 Kiej (Mon Jul 24th). Before we can complete this week in the 13 T’zi, we find the way to make payment for our debts, for our violations, and for all we have received, and we make a gift on 12 Toj (Wed Jul 26th).

The prophesy of the Aztec Calendar warned us about the dangers of the Fifth Sun, which has the one obsidian blade (1 Tijax) in the center. If we came into this 1 Tijax with just knowledge- knowledge to destroy with the one blade, the 1 Tijax will bring miscommunication, it will bring discord on 13 T’zi. It will bring war, it will bring the dark sun, it will manifest the Lords of the Underworld and they will become alive, we will give them birth on 9 Keme. So this is our prophesy at this time of the 13 Baktun- do we want to continue carrying the 1 Tijax from the past era? If we can use the Tijax to work towards collaboration, cooperation, then humanity can be in harmony with life. We become aware of our relationship with each other. We become respectful. We become those who will serve the community, the families, the humanity, and all our relations. Because after 13 T’zi, we begin to weave a new strand of a new day, a new way of being on 1 B’atz.

Mayan Calendar 13-Day Week of 1 B’atz – 13 Akabal  (Fri Jul 28th – Wed Aug 9th, 2023)

In the week of 1 B’atz (Fri Jul 28th), we start weaving a new thread, and will have to choose what we want to weave so that it can be crystallized in its full expression in 13 Akabal (Wed Aug 9th).  The full moon this month falls on Tues Aug 1st, 5 Tz’ikin, asking us to manifest beauty and seek the visions that guide us.  

This initiation takes us to the place where we contemplate the wisdom of 7 Noj- the connection to Earth and what is our journey through this world (Thurs Aug 3rd ). The very next day is 8 Tijax (Fri Aug 4th), when we can either communicate what we understand, or we will going to misinterpret and miscommunicate, as we see many people that fall into the gossip, creating lies about the intention to weave a new way when the fears have entered and are being fed. In the positive, once we understand what is happening, we can use the completion of our communication skills to go through the purification process in 9 Kawok (Sat Aug 5th) and birth our purification. When this happens, the next day in 10 Ajpu (Sun Aug 6th) the Lords of the Light can become self-aware, and we become aware of the light within us. This process is all so that we can get to the place of understanding the great Mystery in 13 Akabal (Wed Aug 9th).   

This week is determined by what we want to start weaving following the outcome of the 13 T’zi in the week before. If we are weaving from the problems of the 13 T’zi, then we are going to go into 13 Akabal more like the Dark Ages - where the fears are applied through religions, through social systems, through economic systems, and through confusion. But if we are given the collective consciousness that our clans & our families are being restructured, now on 1 B’atz we decide to start weaving a new strand that takes us to a very different destiny. It takes us through the wisdom of Noj to reconnect to what we are doing, a lot of communication (Tijax), a lot of healing and doctoring (Kawok), and a lot of connection to understand that we are spiritual beings having a physical experience. So that we don’t have confusion and we can use the energy and the source of Life to understand what is in the Great Mystery (13 Akabal).

1 B’atz is part of the story of the Pop Vuh of the ancient civilizations and the teachings, where there is a set of twins of creation, and the story leads us to understand the empowerment of what we are creating. So in Jun B’atz we take one strand of life, of thought, of intention, and we can complete the house of knowledge, the crystal house in 13 Akabal.  

Mayan Calendar 13-Day Week of 1 Kat – 13 Ajmak (Thurs Aug 10th – Tues Aug 22nd)

In the week of 1 Kat (Thurs Aug 10th), here something very important starts to happen- the beginning of the connection to the web of life.  This is the journey that will take us to what becomes the inheritance- what is the bundle that we are giving to the next generation on 13 Ajmak (Tues Aug 22nd)? This is the time where it has already been decided what is the tradition that we want to give to the 7th generation. We have gone through all these experiences, and now we have this initiation in walking in the web of life. Here is where we come to a place where the Maya decide that we are going to have a Council, a gathering of the people, on 7 T’zi (Wed Aug 16th). 7 T’zi is the day that we honor the women, and the ceremonies are led by the women- it is dealing with the law that governs the community and the family, how we honor our relationship to this web of life, to the 1 Kat. And so on 7 T’zi the keepers of the Original Instructions are activated. And we make offerings, especially the women leading the ceremonies, because they are the ones that are weaving the web in the womb to create life. That is the 1 Kat.

The New Moon also falls in this day of Wuku T’zi (Wed Aug 16th) this month, bringing a powerful time to set the intentions and actions of calling the council to clear and release anything that is not desired to bring into the new cycle beginning the next day.

And so through this journey, the 7 T’zi it has activated, and at midnight, their bundle, all these relationships, all these Original Instructions, they go through an evolutionary process which manifests on 8 B’atz (Thurs Aug 17th). And so on this day of 8 B’atz, millions of the Maya are doing ceremonies to celebrate the evolutionary process through the web of life. And others, they know it as the “Mayan New Year”, to make it simple and understandable. But it is not just like a New Year calendric, it actually is how the matrix is going through its evolutionary process. Once this is complete, the 8 strands, the 8 umbilical cords (B’atz) that started to unwind on 1 Kat, connecting to the web of life, it now becomes complete. And so the bundle is complete, it has been blessed.

And it is going to begin a new journey on 9 E (Fri Aug 18th). This new destiny is activated. Now we have seen the story of how we have gotten here, and what we have been doing. The preparations are now that we take the bundle and we start on the journey again. We go visit the sacred sites. And we go and honor the wisdom, the visions, and all the sacred sites that have been named and shown to us by our ancestors. Now the traditional ways continue as we prepare to give the bundle to the next generation on 13 Ajmak (Tues Aug 22nd ).

Mayan Calendar 13-Day Week of 1 Noj – 13 Toj (Wed Aug 23rd – Mon Sept 4th, 2023)

In the week of 1 Noj, here now we take the traditional ways that the 13 Ajmak, the ancestors, have left us. Now, in this week, the wisdom is initiated and begins to be applied in 1 Noj, the wisdom of the Earth (Wed Aug 23rd). This journey takes us to 7 Akabal (Tues Aug 29th)- this place of serenity, the place of contemplation, the meditation to be able to start to see through the unknown, to start to understand the Great Mystery. Because what started 20 days ago on the 1 Kat through all the story, now we see that is must be complete on 8 Kat (Wed Aug 30th)- the web must be complete in its process of evolution. And so this becomes an important part, because here is where we start seeing, let’s say, the fetus inside the womb of the mother, now we see it starts to develop to its form. So like our ideas, our ceremonials, our teachings, the wisdom, it starts to link up and now we start to understand how things are put together. We start to understand the story of the 13-day weeks, and what is happening in the evolution of the planetary and the cosmic processes.  8 Kat is also the day of the full moon this month, a time to honor and apply the wisdom we have received, and access the wisdom of the Earth.

Then, the next day it activates the birth of 9 Kan (Thurs Aug 31st)- now the Original Laws become the instructions to the development of what is happening inside of the web, the Kat, inside the matrix, inside the womb of the mother. Now the laws decide if it is going to be a male, or is it going to be a female, or it’s a turtle, or it’s a worm, or it’s a human, or an eagle, or whatever is being created. Because the 1 Noj, this wisdom, can take us to 13 Toj (Mon Sept 4th). This is where we receive the payment, Toj, this is where we are harvesting now. All that wisdom, it is now harvesting. We have chosen the seeds, we have planted the seeds, we have taken care of the garden, and now in this week we can receive the gift of our efforts. So we say that whatever we do in love for ourselves, for our families, for Mother Nature, for the Spirit, for the supernaturals, for the elementals, is very prolific. The multiplication is the 1 to the 144,000.  So if we do it with dedication and consciousness, how can we go wrong?

Here is where we must endure the process of the selection and the planting of the seed on 12 Q’anil (Sun Sept 3rd), so that we can receive the gift. If it is not in the wisdom, and we have chosen the dark road, this 13 Toj then becomes our burdens- the heavy cross we are carrying, the karma that we must pay, all the violations that we went through. If we choose the dark road then on 8 Kat there is the potential to become trapped in the web- we go into the prison, go into the confinement, and go into the entanglement. And so here we must choose the knowledge that was given to us by the ancestors – what did they experience? What did they do, and how are we now choosing to prepare to receive the gift of life?

Mayan Calendar 13-Day Week of 1 T’zi – 13 I’q (Tues Sept 5th – Sun Sept 17th, 2023)

In the week of 1 T’zi (Tues Sept 5th) here the initiation now begins to take form into our relationships with Life, our relationships with ourselves, our relationship with each other, our relationship to the Original Instructions. How are we behaving, and how are we carrying the Law of the Land, the Spiritual Law? Because here is where we are looking at the completion of this cycle in the relationship to 13 I’q, the 13 breaths (Sun Sept 17th). Here are the 13 forces of Spiritual Law.

And so, in this journey, in this initiation, we are going to find that in the middle is 7 Ajmak (Mon Sept 11th). That which was before- the place in which we had to decide what to carry as our ancestors’ gift, now it becomes our acts, our way that we are in relationship to life.  And so the next day comes in, 8 Noj (Tues Sept 12th)- the completion of acting on the wisdom that we now know. Not just knowledge to make things happen, but the wisdom, so that on the next day on 9 Tijax (Wed Sept 13th) we can communicate it. And we can use that force to liberate anything that is limiting the 1 T’zi – the human slavery, the destruction of the earth, the pollution of the earth. Here comes this revolutionary, this force to change the things that are not right. And so Tijax becomes these warriors, becomes these guardians of Earth in activation. Because the 1 T’zi says “oh, just a minute! Here, the violations are against nature, against the Creator, against Life.” And we need the 13 Spirits (I’q), we need to endure through our mind, 12 Imux, (Sat Sept 16th) to find the solutions so that we can communicate it, we can protect it, and we can cut off all those things that are not needed with the energy of Tijax.

The New Moon falls on 10 Kawok (Thurs Sept 14th), inviting us to activate our intentions for purification and coming into self-awareness with our hearth, the medicine waters, our healing gifts.

So this week here, this initiation, is about global transformation, global evolution. And it can go the other way where we have the wars, the bickering, the fighting, the jealousies, the envies- the 1 T’zi can become a very messy cycle. But we are looking at the relationships to life, to be in the activation and the manifestation of the ancestors’ gift.  And so here, the ancestors look at us and they say “oh good, they learned it well.” And the children are looking at it and saying “oh yes, they are a good example for me to live by.”

Mayan Calendar 13-Day Week of 1 Akabal – 13 Tz’ikin (Mon Sept 18th – Sat Sept 30th, 2023)

In the week of 1 Akabal (Mon Sept 18th), now we have the spiritual force, now we want to birth it, we have been given the spiritual approval. So in 1 Akabal, we watch the new dawn through this week. We watch the process to go from that which was not known into 13 Tz’ikin (Sat Sept 30th)- a full beauty of visions, the richness that comes from enlightenment. This is not just the knowledge or wisdom now, this is the joy of the vision in activation. Like we see now, the beauty of our efforts through so many years that we have sanctuaries. We have the beauty, so we live it now. So 1 Akabal takes us through the dawning through the Web of Life (Tues Sept 19th). We still must come through the transformation (Thurs Sept 21st) and into the place of the medicine, the shamans (5 Kiej- Fri Sept 22nd).

In the middle of this week, on 7 Toj (Sun Sept 24th), there is a balance now with all the offerings that have been given: the efforts that have been given to Life, to ourselves, to our family, to Creator, and the gifts that are being received. Now you can see that everything you have done is coming to be fruitful. It is there for you- the gifts are there, and this is a place of balance. The karma is being given (payment), we are getting rid of that, and now we see this jewel, this potential, because it is taking us to the completion of the community on 8 T’zi (Mon Sept 25th). 20 days ago we started the 1 T’zi- the initiations through all this story with our relationships. Now, on 8 T’zi- the community is complete. Now we know our placement. Now we know the Original Instructions. Now we know how our relationships are. Now we know what we must give and what we must take. Between 7 Toj and 8 T’zi, we understand that now. We understand our placement, we understand our gifts, and we understand the reciprocity for our efforts, for our community now.

And so the community prepares to say thank you to those ones who are going to be giving birth on the 9 B’atz (Tues Aug 26th) the 9 strands/threads. This is the day to honor the women as 1 Akabal: the house of creation, the house of the crystals, the womb of the mother Nan Imuxcane, Nan Ixchel, and the physical place in which birth can happen. Now, in 9 B’atz, the birth is being witnessed. This is when the Maya celebrate and honor the women through ceremonies. We know now that the DNA, the matrix, the Cholqi’j we call it, the counting of these days are now witnessing the birth of all of these thought forms, of the birthing that we are trying to do. So it starts to know itself, on the path, on the road, on 10 E (Wed Sept 27th). 

The full moon falls on Fri Sept 29th, 12 Ix, the energy of perseverance and determination of the sacred feminine and the Mother Earth, the medicine plants and the altar. This is a powerful time to connect to your altar, to bathe your crystals in the light of the full moon.

This whole journey this week is so that we can get to the beauty and the completion of 13 Tz’ikin (Sat Sept 30th): the beauty, the gifting, the incredible abundance and harvest in life.
