Waqxaqui B’atz Mayan Spiritual Renewal Ceremony at Deer Mountain Sanctuary, Saturday January 18th, 10 am - 4 pm

Join us at the Deer Mountain Sanctuary to honor the Mayan ceremonial days of Waqxaqui B’atz, the time of Spiritual Spiritual Renewal on the Chol Q’ij, the sacred Mayan Calendar. Together we will make offerings of beauty here in the north in to join with the countless altars set and ceremonial fires burning in the Mayan world. This is a special time to circle, feast, pray and and connect to each other and the elements in the nourishing embracing arms of the Siskiyou Mountains.  

Followed by a potluck, please bring a prepared dish to share.

Suggested loving donation: $20 and up to support our Medicine People and cover ceremonial materials.

We strongly encourage bringing offerings for this unique fire that uses no wood (dried herbs & flowers, sugar, chocolate, honey, candles in the directional colors).  Please contact us for more details...
