7th Annual Wisdom Keeper & Youth Council at Deer Mountain

Aug 09, 2012 to Aug 13, 2012

"The Wisdom Keeper & Youth Councils are times of incredible blessings, beauty, and divine experiences. We have experienced the transformation of humanity's heavy and dark experiences, into feeling support and love. This is what our ceremonies and the sacred container of Deer Mountain is all about."- Tata Erick Gonzalez

The council will be held on the Mayan Date 13 Keme until 4 Tzi (August 9th - 13th, 2012).  In the Mayan Calendar, the days of this Council hold powerful energies that support the transformation of the old patterns and paradigm that we have been living, and bring a spiritual initiation that allows us to bring our wisdom together so that we can establish a new code of building our communities.

Confirmed Wisdom Keepers so far are:

  • Tata Erick Gonzalez, Maya
  • Nana Heddi Neale
  • Nana Sandra Xoquic, Maya
  • Patricio Dominguez, Tewa
  • Grandfather Whitewolf Switzer, Welsh/Celtic
  • Debassa Guyo, Oromo (Ethiopia)
  • Hua Anwa, Metis & adopted Chumash

We are shifting our format this year and are no longer offering work trade positions. Instead we will be asking everyone help co-create the Council to ensure that everyone is taken care of and we fully live into the visionary experience of living as community in council on the land.
