Belejeb (9) B'atz Women's Ceremony at Deer Mountain
Mar 18 '10 - Mar 18 '10 at Deer Mountain, Northern California
Thursday, March 18th, 2010
Belejeb (9) B'atz is the day in the Mayan Calendar where offerings are made and the women are blessed in sacred ceremonies for the sacred place they hold within the families and clans. We will celebrate this sacred day along with thousands of the Maya in Central America by doing a ceremony on the sacred land of Deer Mountain.
On Belejeb B’atz we will be gathering in ceremony at noon and spend the rest of the day in ceremony and celebration together, including coming before the sacred Grandfather Fire, and the creation of the Flowering Staff. For those of you wishing to make the pilgrimage to Mount Shasta the following day, and who live out of town, you are very welcome to stay overnight at Deer Mountain. We will conclude this special time together early-afternoon Friday following our pilgrimage to in Mount Shasta.
Please RSVP if you are interested and for a list of what to bring:
